DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION: SPIRIT OF THE RADIO

Client: The Spirit of The Radio
Project Description: Design a line of vintage transistor radios
Background Information: I have long been fascinated with technology / electronics, and while moving some years back I discovered my first transistor radio from my childhood. It was a classic Panasonic circa 1957, no doubt my father's at one point. Here I tried to re-imagine my own version of the radio. The logo is decidedly kitschy as was my intention. I discovered a fun type font on dafont.com that, in part, inspired my solution. (And yes the name for this project was inspired by my fav rock band Rush!)
