Client: The Pro Talks™
Project Description: Design promotional motion graphic
Background Information: I have to confess this is a bit of a shameless plug as The Pro Talks™ is my own speakers bureau, but I couldn't resist, I like the way it turned out ;) I am particularly proud of the sound track, I used Garage Band to edit two pieces of music together and added a swoosh sound effect and a bit of echo to sweeten the mix.

Client: Velocity Bicycle Company
Project Description: Design promotional motion graphic
Background Information: As long time rider myself, I was really thrilled when the guys at Velocity Bicycles™ asked me to do their logo / graphic identity (I am also working on their website). I wanted to give them a taste of what we could do with the logo so I created this mock up promotional video using some stock footage to demonstrate the direction I want to go with them.

Client: Manifest
Project Description: Design sample title sequence / motion graphic
Background Information: As surely you have noticed if you have been following my work, I am eager to help people free of charge if I have the time and or am really excited by the project. Such is the case here, a friend of mine is a struggling screen writer and he has an opportunity to meet with a "big name" production company (Show Time I think ;) to pitch some of his ideas for a series. He asked me to come up with a title sequence for his television show idea entitled "Manifest".
Manifest, as written, takes place in the late 1760's toward the end of King George III reign and the story revolves around the activities of The British Monarchy and The East India Trading Company in India at that time. It also, as the graphics indicate, has more than a few story lines involving pirates which were also active at this time. My friend described it to me as Pirates of the Caribbean meets Master and Commander. Master and Commander being one of my favorite Peter Weir movies (Dead Poet's Society not withstanding) served as my inspiration. I wanted to create my own unique visual vocabulary so all of the graphic content is of my own design based on historical references. I even researched the most commonly used type fonts of that era (Caslon Antique) to ensure a sense of historical accuracy. Once I finished the graphics and researched the other images I went about assembling them all in After Effects with the finishing touch being added by one of my fav composers Max Richter (the song is called ironically Song) with a little help from Garage Band where I edited in some subtle wave sounds.
