Project Description: Design poster for an IEEE symposium
Background Information: I approached IEEE with these graphic ideas for their many symposiums held around the world in the hope they will sponsor a design contest for my students. Note my nod to modernists Willem Hendrik "Wim" Crouwel (aka Gridnik ;) I worked hard to establish a unique grid design as the underpinning of my solution, much the same way Crouwel and others have done. I always try to infuse my work with influence from my many design heroes, and in doing so I always come away with a deeper understanding of just how great these guys were.
